    Production process

    Raw material preparation: Select appropriate 301 stainless steel alloy as raw material and ensure its chemical composition meets the standards.

    Smelting: The raw materials are melted in a high temperature furnace to form stainless steel liquid. The temperature and composition need to be controlled during the melting process to ensure the uniformity and quality of the alloy.

    Casting: The molten stainless steel is poured into a mold and cooled to form an ingot or block.

    Hot rolled or cold rolled:

    Hot rolling: After the ingot is heated to a certain temperature, it is hot rolled through a rolling mill to gradually reduce the diameter to form a preliminary tube billet.

    Cold rolling: The tube is further rolled at room temperature to improve its strength and surface finish.

    Tube forming: The rolled tube is formed, usually by welding or seamless process. Seamless tubes are made by perforation and expansion, while welded tubes are made by rolling steel strips into tubes and then welding them.

    Heat treatment: The formed stainless steel pipe is heat treated to eliminate internal stress and improve its mechanical properties.

    Cooling and cleaning: The heat-treated pipe is cooled and cleaned to remove surface oxides and impurities.

    Inspection and testing: Various inspections are carried out on the finished products, including size, appearance, mechanical properties and chemical composition, to ensure that they meet the relevant standards.

    Surface treatment: According to customer needs, surface treatment such as polishing, pickling, sand blasting, etc. is carried out to improve corrosion resistance and aesthetics.

    Packaging and Shipping: Qualified 301 stainless steel pipes are packaged and prepared for shipment to customers.
