Production process
.Raw material preparation:
Select the appropriate alloy steel billet, usually a round billet, and ensure that its chemical composition and physical properties meet the standards.
.Heating:
Heating the steel billet to a certain temperature (usually around 1200°C) to make it soft and easier to process.
.Piercing:
The heated steel billet is perforated by a piercing machine to form a hollow tube billet. The perforation process usually adopts the extrusion or impact method.
.Diameter expansion:
The perforated tube is expanded to achieve the required outer diameter and wall thickness. This process can be done by rolling or extrusion.
.Heat treatment:
Heat treatment of the tube (such as normalizing, annealing, etc.) to improve its mechanical properties and microstructure.
.Cooling:
Cool the heat treated pipe, usually by natural cooling or water cooling.
.Sizing and straightening:
