Growing need for hot - rolled alloy tubes

A hot rolled alloy tube is a type of metal tube that is produced through a hot rolling process, where metal is heated above its recrystallization temperature and then shaped into a tube. This method not only enhances the material's mechanical properties but also allows for the creation of complex shapes and sizes. The alloy composition typically includes elements such as chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, which contribute to the tube's strength, corrosion resistance, and overall performance.

    Production process

    .Raw material preparation:
Select appropriate alloy steel billet, usually round or square steel, and ensure its chemical composition and physical properties meet the requirements.
    .Heating:
The steel billet is heated to a certain temperature (usually between 1100°C and 1250°C) to make it plastic for subsequent rolling.
    .Hot rolling:
The heated billet is sent to the hot rolling mill for rolling. Through multiple rolling passes, the billet is gradually transformed into the required outer diameter and wall thickness of the pipe.
During the rolling process, different rolling methods may be used, such as continuous rolling or intermittent rolling.
    .Tube forming:
During the rolling process, the inner and outer diameters of the tube are gradually formed, usually by processes such as extrusion or tube expansion.
    .Cooling:
After hot rolling, the pipe needs to be cooled, usually by natural cooling or water cooling, to control the structure and properties of the pipe.
    .Cutting:
Cut the cooled alloy tube into required lengths, usually customized according to customer requirements.
    .Surface treatment:
Surface treatment of pipes, such as pickling, sandblasting, galvanizing, etc., to improve their corrosion resistance and aesthetics.
    .Inspection:
Carry out quality inspection on finished pipes, including appearance inspection, dimension measurement, mechanical property testing, etc., to ensure that they meet relevant standards and customer requirements.
    .Packaging and Shipping:
Qualified pipes are packaged and ready to be shipped to customers.
